Funding is intended for activities that promote the start-up, expansion, and stabilization of child care. Eligible center-based or family-based childcare programs are located in Greater St. Louis County, i.e., anywhere in St. Louis County, except within the city limits of Duluth, Hermantown, and Proctor.

Grants of up to $10,000 to Colorado-licensed early childcare centers to improve the availability of childcare in eligible locations. Funding is intended to support early childhood training programs and to expand the number of early childcare spots.

Opportunity for USA Black business owners to participate in a business accelerator. The purpose of the program is to help foster entrepreneurial growth for Black business owners and facilitate their success as sellers. Successful applicants have the opportunity to receive financial support, business guidance and mentorship, and marketing and promotional support.

Grants of up to $15,000 to Oregon childcare businesses in eligible locations to expand operations. Funding is intended for training, business planning, and education to increase the number of spots available for young children, particularly those under the age of five.

Grants of up to $10,000 to Wisconsin childcare providers in eligible locations to promote workforce development and improve services. Funding is intended to expand and retain the local childcare workforce. The goal of the grant program is to help licensed childcare providers enhance their services and facilities. The CSBG Program seeks to add or retain childcare slots in Sun Prairie, as an effort to ensure that the community’s childcare supply can keep up with its increasing need for more slots.

In-kind grants to USA families to enable children and youth to participate in a wide range of recreational sports. Income-eligible families will receive a digital card to be used to offset the cost of registration. Eligible participants are children and youth between the ages of 4 and 18.

Grants and sponsorships to USA organizations, including governmental organizations, schools,
IHEs, hospitals, and faith-based organizations to benefit eligible communities. Funding is intended for proposals in the areas of economic development and early childhood education.
