Financial assistance to New Jersey nonprofit corporations and small, minority-owned, and
women-owned businesses to help offset operating costs. Assistance may be used for working
capital or fixed assets. Eligible businesses have been in operation for at least one full year,
and nonprofits for at least three full years.
An expedited approval process provides financial assistance to qualified businesses through
direct loans, participations, or guarantees with a fixed interest rate. The base rate is the 5-
Year United States Treasury or 1%, whichever is higher. The base rate will be adjusted using
criteria based upon the applicant’s creditworthiness.

Support for pre-development soft costs is considered critical for emerging developers, as it enables them to expand their portfolios and participate more robustly in real estate development.

Applicants fill out one detailed application, and as new grants are added by enterprise partners, the system matches suitable applications based on specific criteria. This streamlined process improves access to funding for women-led businesses, while also providing coaching and resources to help ensure their success.

In-kind support of business programming and grants to Michigan small businesses
for Coronavirus (COVID-19) recovery. Upon completion of a series of courses, businesses will
be eligible to apply for funding. Points are assigned to each course and participants must
accumulate a minimum composite score of six.

The SBSH Grant Program offers direct monetary grants to support business stability and
growth. To qualify for a direct grant, Participants must engage in programs, courses, events,
and support under the Small Business Support Hub Grant Program within six months prior to
applying for the direct grant.
